Bell's Palsy

Unilateral (one side) facial paralysis of sudden onset due to a lesion of the facial nerve and results in characteristic facial distortion. i.e. Drawing of lower jaw on one side, one can not hold the air in mouth, one can not gurgles with water, slurred speech and eye lid not close properly, half opened eye when he try to close his both eyes and involuntary leakage of the tears from that eye. These are the characteristic features of the Bell's palsy.
